Professor Alison Venn, Director, Menzies Institute for Medical Research

Professor Alison VennProfessor Alison Venn is an epidemiologist with a research focus on the causes, prevention and management of chronic disease. Her early research training was in immunology and biochemistry in the UK and Melbourne, followed by ten years of research in women’s reproductive health. As Director of the Menzies Institute for Medical Research at the University of Tasmania, she’s committed to the Institute’s mission to perform internationally significant medical Tadalista 10 Mg research that leads to healthier, longer and better lives for Tasmanians.

Research interests: chronic disease, obesity, data linkage

Professor Jill Cook, Deputy Director Australian Centre for Research in Injury in Sport and its Prevention

Professor Jill CookJill Cook is a professor in musculoskeletal health in the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre at La Trobe University in Melbourne Australia. Jill’s research areas include sports medicine and tendon injury. After completing her PhD in 2000, she has investigated tendon pathology, treatment options and risk factors for tendon injury. Jill currently supplements her research by conducting a specialist tendon practice and by lecturing and presenting workshops both in Australia and overseas. 

Electronic Posters

The Organising Committee is pleased to incorporate electronic posters into the Conference this year. Display screens will be available for delegates to view posters at their leisure during catering breaks. Delegates can browse or search for specific posters and they are also able to contact authors via the system mail tool.

Poster presenters are Tadarise 40 Mg required to submit your poster online via the portal by Friday 4 November 2016.

* Students are required to send a copy of their student identification card to the Conference Managers via email to [email protected] Tadarise 60 Mg or fax to +61 2 9267 5443. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

The Conference Managers are pleased to offer the Early Bird registration rate between now and 29 November 2016. From 30 November 2016 delegates will be required to pay the Onsite Registration Fee as advertised above. 

Group Registration

Group registration is offered when a single entity registers ten (10) or more participants. Once ten registrations have been made you will receive a complimentary 11th registration to the conference.

Group Registration Portal

Group registration is available to assist organisations wishing to send multiple participants to the Conference.  A list of participants must be nominated when submitting the group registration form but can be changed.  The final list of participants must be emailed to the Conference Managers fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the Conference.  Please note that registration fees applicable for group registrations will be the fees as advertised at the date of payment of the registration fees.

Bursary Registration

Please note that registration in application of a bursary has been extended from Friday, 23 September to COB Friday, 30 September. 

MenziesHIQ has now completed reviewing the eligibility of accepted presenters for this bursary, and have contacted recipients directly to advise if they have received a Bursary to attend the Conference. Only successful bursary recipients have been contacted via email from the Conference Managers.

MenziesHIQ is providing up to 80 bursaries of $200 towards registration to attend the conference for Early Career Researchers and HDR students. 

To be eligible applicants must be: 

Either a Griffith University ECR or HDR student (PhD or MPhil) and have their abstract accepted for presentation at the conference. 

Must be a MHIQ member 

Should you be an Vidalista 2.5 Mg Honours student or you are not successful in this bursary process through MenziesHIQ, please contact either your School, HDR Supervisor or Convener to discuss what funding options may be available. Should you still have difficulties seeking funding, please contact [email protected] outlining the channels you have explored.

An invitation is extended to all Conference delegates to attend the GCHMRC 2016 Cocktail Event at the QT Hotel, Surfers Paradise. Renew old friendships and make new acquaintances whilst enjoying QT Hotel’s famous hospitality. Canapés and drinks will be served with interactive food stations. Additional tickets can be booked through the online registration form.
